Campo Viejo Streets of Spain Festival on London’s Southbank

bannerIts May Day Bank Holiday Weekend and after a cold, bleak winter and spring, the weather is finally begining to warm up and the sun is shining on us here in London.  One of the highlights of this weekend has been the Campo Viejo Streets of Spain Festival on London’s Southbank. This unique festival has been a four day vibrant celebration of modern Spanish food, wine, art and culture.

From a gastronomic standpoint, the event was a veritable food and wine lover’s paradise offering visitors exclusive foodie experiences such as, tutored wine tasting masterclasses hosted by expert winemakers from Campo Viejo, and a pop-up restaurant each evening hosted by Michelin-starred Spanish chef, Angel Pascual.  For me, one of the main highlights of the festival was the chance to buy superb Spanish produce directly from stall holders from Barcelona’s world-famous La Boqueria food market.

Here is a selection of photos from around the festival market…IMG_4072IMG_4040IMG_4038
